Seven days in Havana, one hundred wooden boxes with the smell of tobacco and dozens of black and white and colour photographs printed on them were needed to capture the last sentence of Fernando in Calle de los Marcaderes: “… and remember: Cuba is not the buildings you have seen, but the people you have spoken to, inside or outside of your lens.”
